I like the individual care that she's getting. One of her assistants is very good. For me and my family, I like it because of the location. She has only been there for three days, so we haven't checked that out. They have private dining rooms if you want to have a private dinner with family and bring your own stuff. There's a salon, a gym, a place to watch movies, a nice big dining room, and a private dining room .

Residents come to us from our own community, and from further in Georgia and North Florida. We accommodate for both long-term and short-term residents by providing 24-hour nursing care and in-house rehab therapy.
It accommodated for, of course, the residents of the home, but as well for the visitors. There was enjoyment for visitors while they were there, as well as refreshments. The employers were bright and wore smiles every time they would greet you and the residents. I was treated with much respect and my family members were also. We were allowed to interact with our family members who were residents the way we pleased.
Harbor View is only 4-5 years old. The building is very clean and you don't smell any odors. They have all private rooms so your loved one doesn't have a roommate... So there is no fussing over the t.v. They have came long way and really take care of any issues me or my sister might have. The Administrator has an open door policy and is aware of what is going on with the families and residents.
It's extremely expensive out of pocket. We are proud of our knowledgeable therapy team, who provides physical, occupational, and speech therapy. We also do outpatient therapy and provide transportation on an as-needed basis, to and from appointments.
The place seem to be in order and you saw more staff than usual. Then I overheard other residents talking and found out that state was paying them a visit. Should have known something because this place is unorganized and ghetto, and I wish the family would send her somewhere else. I give the State 5 stars for coming, but once they leave its back to a 0 star facility if you ask me. Please never bring your loved ones here.
