Experience All-Inclusive Ultra-Luxury Cruises

luxury cruise line

Regent’s classy ships have touches reminiscent of grand hotels, with elegant cocktail lounges and imaginatively designed restaurants. The suites on the two newest ships, Seven Seas Explorer and Seven Seas Splendor, are especially covetable, with opulent decor and butler service. Regent is arguably the world’s most luxurious — and most inclusive — of the luxury lines.

World-class dining and culinary experiences

Complimentary choices on Silver Moon include Asian-fusion Indochine, Italian La Terrazza, seafood grill Atlantide, tapas restaurant and bar Silver Note, pizza place Spaccanapoli, and The Grill, a grill-your-own meat venue. During the day, La Terrazza is the ship's buffet, offering breakfast and lunch. Likewise, Atlantide is the closest to a main dining room you'll find, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner for those who prefer a sit-down option. Like fine European hotels or the fanciest boutique properties, the ships of the best luxury cruise lines are designed to appeal to people who seek — and can afford — an elegant style of travel. Celebrity Beyond, which debuted in 2022, accommodates 3,260 guests has 32 bars and restaurants, like Le Voyage by chef Daniel Boulud, and two-story villas on board.

Exclusive Special Offers & More

Owned by Carnival Corporation, Seabourn's top-of-the-line, 264- to 600-passenger ships deliver comfortable, modern luxury that can be as fancy or casual as you like. The top Regent Suites on these new ships are mansions at sea and come with solariums, private spas with saunas and steam rooms and Steinway pianos in their living rooms. S.A.L.T., a new dining and culinary education concept, brings local tastes on board together with experts who share insight into each dish and beverage.

AN UNRIVALED EXPERIENCE®

The latest addition to the fleet is the icebreaker Le Commandant Charcot, tailor-made for thrilling polar expeditions. Costs cover dining, most drinks, a stocked minibar, wi-fi, crew gratuities and — on expedition cruises — most activities. As stunning as land-locked adventures and beautiful hotels can be, there’s something to be said about sailing the seas. Fortunately for us, nowadays, there are cruise ships that far exceed the family-fun agenda of the classic companies so often advertised on TV. While there’s absolutely nothing wrong with those cruise liners, there’s something special about not only traversing the ocean but doing so decked out to the nines.

The North American brand is superb for families, with fully supervised dedicated programmes for those aged 3 to 17 extending from morning till late at night. Regular itineraries include the Mediterranean and Caribbean, but these vessels go to most of the popular large tourism ports worldwide. The Crown & Anchor® Society is our way of recognizing and rewarding our most loyal guests. The more you sail with us, the more points you earn toward exclusive benefits and privileges you can enjoy before and during your next luxury cruise with Royal Caribbean®.

Caribbean

The six 490- to 750-passenger ships in the Regent fleet get fancier as they get larger. On the three newest, Seven Seas Explorer, Seven Seas Splendor and Seven Seas Grandeur everyone stays in a roomy suite with an oversized balcony and marble bathroom. All cabins have sea views and almost 70% have balconies, but they don't come close in terms of sumptuousness when stacked up against the other luxury lines on this list. At night, expect outstanding cuisine with a strong French Polynesia flare in the ship's three restaurants. With just one small ship -- the 200-passenger Scenic Eclipse and a second on the way this spring Scenic Eclipse II -- the line is carving out a niche in the ultra-luxury small-ship space.

Like the ocean ships, they feature Scandinavian design, a glass-walled Explorers' Lounge and signature Viking restaurants Manfredi's and Mamsen's (offering Norwegian specialties). Viking's fares are inclusive but not all-inclusive, and its ships sport clean Scandinavian design rather than opulent decor. Necessities such as Wi-Fi and self-serve laundry are complimentary, as are all nonalcoholic beverages and beer and wine with lunch and dinner. Not all cabins are suites, but the top suites on the ship come with butler service.

BECOME A REGENT INSIDER

For small ships, Scenic's yachts still manage to offer five gourmet dining venues, plus additional private dining options (such as a chef's table or teppanyaki grill), room service and culinary masterclasses in a show kitchen. Regent is also the most inclusive line (in terms of costs), with everything onboard (except for spa treatments) included as well as airfare and shore excursions. You’ll see sights you’d never experience by land or air and get a taste of inimitable maritime elegance. The majority of trips aboard this Floridian line, average nights, revolving around Europe and North America. Catering for between 684 and 1,250 guests, the ships have a cosy, yet stately feel with a friendly style of service. Creativity and wellness are championed with an artist-in-residence, wellness-themed excursions and the new Aquamar Spa Vitality Center.

The service is what sings on this tiny boutique cruise line, which operates just two 112-passenger megayachts that in 2022 underwent bow-to-stern revamps totalling nearly £10 million. All staterooms on SeaDream I and SeaDream II have been completely refurbished, and there are gleaming new teak decks mirroring the centuries-old yachting tradition. Attentive crew cater to guests’ every whim, while the food is exceptional, not least the imaginative vegetarian and vegan dishes.

Every suite has its own balcony and separate lounge area, and you can expect fine-dining quality meals at spots like the Chef's Table. Oceania Riviera dining is legendary across all of the cruise ship's dining venues, including complimentary specialty restaurants. Windstar Cruises' luxury small ships call on 150 ports throughout Europe, Central America, the Caribbean, and the South Pacific, and there's no way you'll go hungry on the journey.

On board Queen Anne, due to grace the seas in early 2024, our newly designed, much-loved signature spaces from across the fleet return, and she also introduces new experiences. White-gloved butlers, suite-only accommodations, complimentary caviar and Roman baths are just a few of the elements that make Silversea’s Silver Dawn the ultimate stress-free getaway for couples in need of pampering. Beyond the ship, the Mediterranean itineraries are full-bodied and comprehensive, making you feel like a local expert by the end of it. Passengers tend to be in the 55-and-over age range with younger crowds for the expeditions. You won’t find many children here, which for couples, might just be what the doctor ordered. Our ships range in size from 51 to 364 suites to ensure each of our guests finds the perfect balance between choice and intimacy.

The service is attentive, yet the atmosphere is relaxed and a sociable vibe makes it perfect for solo voyagers. Legendary deck parties, glittering casinos and award-winning shows make the night as exciting as the days’ explorations. And as the group is a member of the prestigious gastronomic society, Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, you can expect world-leading feasts that fit around your own schedule.
